Here are the latest forms for the SBA Loans as of 1:00 PM Wednesday conference call with the SBA, SBDC and the BBB.

Send me an email cathy@ken-ton.org if you would like a copy of the Webex conference. Good questions were asked about these new loans.

We recommend getting all the information together and fill out the paper forms. Then go online to fill out the online version and submit it.

U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Loans Now Available:

The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) approved New York State’s recent Economic Injury Disaster Declaration request in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic’s vast financial impact on the private sector.

Under the federal Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2020, emergency loans are now available to small businesses in all New York State counties. Below, please find a summary of available SBA resources and contact information for assistance.

Disaster loan applications can be submitted online on the SBA Covid-19 Response Website. The Buffalo Niagara Partnership encourages local businesses to review the loan details and direct questions to the national SBA disaster assistance customer service center 1-800-659-2955 / disastercustomerservice@sba.gov or the local Small Business Development Center at 716-878-4030 / Mccartsa@buffalostate.edu.

  • SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer up to $2 million in assistance and can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.
  • These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the disaster’s impact. The interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses. The interest rate for non-profits is 2.75%.
  • SBA offers loans with long-term repayments in order to keep payments affordable, up to a maximum of 30 years. Terms are determined on a case-by-case basis, based upon each borrower’s ability to repay.
  • More detailed information is available via the SBA Disaster Loan Fact Sheet and the SBA’s Covid-19 Response Website.
